Hello.I am 21 year old male having ocd since 4years and from past 3years under medication ecmin xr 75mg,serenace 0.25mg,arminol sr 40mg with recognised psychiatrist help.I was dwelling with other symptoms of ocd like checking,counting,Keeping everything in written format etc.all symptoms above mentioned is cured temporarily with help of medicine,ERP and CBT therapy.during primary days I showed good result with these techniques of psychology laterdays I decreased my performance with ERP and CBT and medication.NOW MY PROBLEM IS I USE LARGE VOLUME OF WATER FOR BATHING BRUSHING AND DAILY RITUALS.AT BEGGINING I WAS OBSESSED ABOUT USING WATER LATER DAYS K QUIT BATHING BECAUSE OF HEAVY TENSION DURING BATHING.THIS LEADING ME TO SPEND TENSED LIFE NOW A DAYS.my request is pls suggest a bathing techniques that non ocd people follow. Guide me with proper help.and pls provide ur phone number if possible.Pls help me to spend life easily.my doctor is not helping me more.THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND HELP

I think u must consult another psychiatrist and take further 2nd opinion and medicine. Psychotherapy like CBT are very much help ful to reduce ocd symptoms. There are various cbt measure for various ocd feature. u must consult another psychologist Online or offline and take help. Next Steps
Limit ur water usage by rationing ur water for bathing and toilet. U just take one bucket of water for shower.It is also a cbt. If the emotional causes are deep seated then they have to evaluate and psychoanalysis is also applied with cbt.
