She is suffering from OCD for 5-7 years. She repeats every activity many times. Once she start something then makes it habbit like drinking water by counting, going upstairs and downstairs many times without work. Always remain in confusion state.

I suggest you should take Counselling & therapy sessions for OCD problem.. Therapy sessions are very helpful.

OCD is a treatable condition by pharmaco- psycho therapy. Both are important . You can take medicine regularly in addition to CBT. RESEARCH has shown excellent results with both treatment together.

Rubber band technique. wear a rubber on your wrist and whenever you have start thoughts about going upstairs or downstairs that time take rubber band and hit your wrist forcefully which can be a bit bit painful but it is also very effective
