Observing spaces in between my teeth

Dear Doctor, My teeth was verymuch fine with no spaces in between . But these days I have been observing that spaces are visible in between my teeth. I would want to know the reason as well as the treatment for this. FYI:Im 28 yr old female and a vegetarian

Could be due to a gum problem due to tartar which would require scaling and polishing. Or it could be due to traumatic bite causing spacing between teeth. Clinical examination required for diagnosis
