Not sleeping but seeing things and walki
My grandfather,  86 Unable to sleep in the night, sees something in the house walks there then falls down and sleeps there. This has been happening for the past week, Then he got a stroke, then hospitalized there he is given treatment for low sodium levels sodium level reached 135 still he is blabbering and unable to sleep shows an area and wants to go, he is unable to walk, yet he keeps trying very hard, what is happening

No doubt it is organic etiology, need a multidimensional team for holistic care including psychiatrist consultation. Yes, could be delirium too but detailed assessment needs to be done first, to make the diagnosis and start the apt t/t for the same

It is called as delirium an acute confusional state with altered sensorium accompanied by hallucinations, commonly caused due to stroke or electrolyte disturbances , do not worry kindly consult with a psychiatrist to treat the underlying condition
