Hi, There are several strategies you may consider to overcome the issue of being slow and not able to complete tasks efficiently. First, try breaking down tasks into smaller, more manageable steps to avoid feeling overwhelmed. This can help you stay focused and on track. Additionally, prioritize tasks based on deadlines and importance to ensure that you are allocating your time wisely. Consider utilizing a planner or task management system to keep track of deadlines and stay organized. It may also be helpful to identify any distractions that may be slowing you down and address them accordingly. Lastly, practice time management techniques, such as setting specific time blocks for tasks and taking breaks when needed, to improve your overall productivity. Remember, it's important to be patient with yourself and give yourself grace as you work on improving your efficiency.

If you find yourself consistently slow and unable to complete tasks despite knowing how to do them, it could be beneficial to explore potential underlying factors for which you should consult a psychologist. A few helpful techniques can be:  breaking tasks into smaller, more manageable steps to reduce overwhelm and increase productivity. Practice mindfulness techniques to improve focus and reduce distractions. Additionally, examine if there are any underlying emotional factors such as anxiety or perfectionism that might be contributing to your difficulty in task completion. Seeking guidance from a psychologist can help uncover and address these underlying issues, providing strategies to enhance your productivity and overall well-being.

Hi, it is a good reflection to have. Maybe you could try and understand what are the many thought processes you have when you have to complete or when you are assigned any task. It's a good idea to externalise your thoughts in order to understand the many challenges you are facing. Once you are aware of those challenges, you can move on to the next steps to work on them and probably overcome them with time. If you are finding it difficult to channelize your thoughts, you could arrange to meet a Psychologist for Counselling sessions. See you how you go about it. Best wishes.
Next Steps
seek counselling support if you wish.
