Not able to understand weather breast milk is adequate or not??
My baby girl is 1month 3 days old, she was born with a weight of 2.700 grams and reduced to 2.400 grams
With the next 3-4 days of delivery, now she weighs around 3.400 grams after 1month 3 days is it normal weight gain???
She urinates 10-12 times per day and stools 1-2 times in a day does it mean baby getting adequate milk?? She has been completely breast fed, should we start formula milk to increase the weight???

in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also.
the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding.
meet the doctor for weight assessment.
if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake.
if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child
Next Steps
No need to worry. The childs weight gain is adequate

Dear parents ,
To know whether mother's milk is adequate or not only criteria is weight gain of Baby
In first quarter weight gain per month is 750gm to 1000gm..
In first 10day Baby looses about 10percentage of weight, Upper limit 20 percent.
According to me give exclusively breastfeeding to the Baby. With demand increases
