Not able to smell anything or taste food
I was on antibiotics last week for 5 days due to throat infection and fever. But after completing the medication, I'm unable to smell anything and even food tastes worse. I don't have nasal congestion and I'm able to breathe fine. But I feel cough in my throat almost all the time. Could the loss of smell/taste be because of antibiotics? And if yes, then how much time would it take before I am able to smell again?

Mucous in throat could be post nasal drip, and this could be because of allergy. Antibiotics can alter your taste but not smell.
