Nose surgery diet
I have been SEPTOPLASTY and IT reduction surgery since four days. Please tell me about surgery DIET.

Normal diet is very much allowed. Only this is that ur nose will be packed after surgery so you also ve to breathe through the mouth. It gets tricky to swallow and breathe at once. So u have to have something which u can swallow fast to avoid discomfort or aspiration. Khichdi, Curd rice or sambar rice nicely mashed wud be easier for u to eat. Also avoid hot spicy food as it increases nasal secretions and may cause headache as the pack is kept. It will be temporary. After pack is removed there is no restriction to diet

Septoplasty with inferior turbinate reduction is a commonly performed procedure for treating deviated nasal septum with inferior turbinate hypertrophy. Usually after surgery no special precautions are necessary and normal diet is advised
