Nose problems after turbinate cautery
I had my tonsils removed and turbinate cautery to my nose around 3 months ago. I have noticed that I wake up with sore throat that comes on and off, I still get a bad taste in my mouth and bad breathe. I had the procedure on my nose because it was blocked and I couldn’t breathe out of it especially during the night. I’ve noticed that now at night my nose is completely blocked and I struggle to breathe through it ar night. Do you think I might have to get another procedure to my nose?

Since you are mouth breathing in the night you may be getting recurrent throat infections. Your nose needs to be examined to identify cause for your nose block even after surgery. Treatment depends on identifying the cause
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
