Nose block n smelling ability
Dr it's been 2 days I can not able to smell properly yesterday I went fr covid test it's negative.. Suffering from cold... Mucus is coming out... Pls suggest me how to get my smelling ability back completely n how to get rid of mucus...

Any viral infection affecting the nose can cause loss of smell. This usually returns with time. Although your Covid test is negative, still do take precautions since you are having symptoms, as the test are not 100% accurate and can have false positive or false negative results. Since you are having excess mucous, an antihistamine will help. however do consult an ENT surgeon to get the proper assessment and treatment

Common cold or rhinitis can cause loss of smell sensation although plz don't jump to get covid test .. as if u get it done too early it is sometimes false negative .. plz consult an ent specialist ...
