Nodular Acne
I was on Lymecycline for a while and it cleared my skin. But when I stopped taking it the acne came back. UK doctors said I need to go on a Retinol treatment. Is it effective for Cystic Acne. I get big acne which is hard and painful.

Yes... however treatment depends on the grade...Acne or  pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Acne can be due to hormonal imbalance, stress, lack of sleep, thyroid,eating oily, dairy products and chocolates,excessive oil secretion by sebaceous glands.oral retinoids can give good improvement in acne.consult me online for further treatment
