Not able to sleep at night when I am alone at home. Tried several home remedies but not effective at all. Sleep comes between 5-6 am. Sleeping with night light, soft music; still not able to sleep. Please suggest some medicine.

Dear client. The problem of insomnia can be independent or part of another illness. Also there might be an inherent problem of circadian rhythm. Merely sleeping pills might not suffice in all cases rather than that a comprehensive assessment should be done for the cause of insomnia. However there are certain OTC drugs which are available to aid in sleep but should be taken only under supervision of a registered medical practitioner.
