Passing stools many times in a day or once in 5 days is ok for newborns.
Only breastfeeding is needed.
Just a word of caution if you are suffering from hypothyroidism get the baby's thyroid profile done
It is normal only , newborn baby can pass stools 7 times a day or once in 7 times. We have to look for consistency of the stools . It should not be too hard or too watery. If the baby is active and no abdominal distension, no need to worry. Don't give any liquids other than breast milk
