I am not getting periods from 2 months. I visited to doctor Nd she said due to hormones imbalance I am not getting that.she done my pelvic organ scan Nd throid test.
My throid is 3.8 through method eci Nd biological reference tell from 0.34-5.6 you/ml.it is normal or not.she gave me metital tab (myo-inositol60) Nd thyroxine sodium 12.5mcg.should I take this or not as my family is saying not to take as I don't have thyroid.kindly suggest me what I should do.

Hi there...it may occur in women who have anemia i.e low haemoglobin levels,diabetes or thyroid problems. It is also common in women with high levels of a protein called prolactin in their blood...it can be the side effects of certain drugs like oral contraceptives,antipsychotics,antiepileptics...it may be due to poly cystic ovarian disease as well... So I would suggest you to consult nearest gynecologists for detailed clinical examination and evaluation they will do the needful.
