Irregular periods and Multiple follicles in ovaries on Ultrasonography does not always means PCOD. PCOD is a diagnosis of Exclusion means we have to rule out every other causes which can present with similar complaints and then only we label it as pcod. These similar entities include certain common and certain rare diagnoses. And all of them are Treatable but need to make proper diagnosis to give proper treatment.
