No period with negative pregnancy tests
I had intercourse on 10th March, after which I took an ipill on 12th March. I had intermittent bleeding from 19th March till 22nd March. My period was due on 5th April, but it didn't start on time. I took two pregnancy tests on 21st April and 27th April each, both of which came negative.
1) are urine pregnancy tests reliable in detecting pregnancy at this stage? I am a little concerned since it was negative both times but I still haven't gotten my period
2) Since I cannot take a beta HCG test right now due to the lockdown, can I start taking meprate 10mg to start periods?

THE MAIN SIDE EFFECT OF IPILL IS TO PROLONG UR PERIODS. I THINK UR UNAWARE OF IT. IF UR PREGNANCY TEST IS NEGATIVE WAIT PATIENTLY AND U WILL HAVE UR PERIODS

Urine pregnancy test is accurate more than 99% of the times in early pregnancy. If it has been negative then its extremely unlikely that you are pregnancy at the moment. i would still suggest that you wait for period to come on its own, rather than self medicating

1) It's reliable. Moreover as more than 21 days passed after intercourse and the test is negative, nothing to worry. It's negative.
2) You can take meprate.

Urine pregnancy test is only 70-80 %reliable so better to do bld bhcg test in lab and then take medicines as per prescription

Hi. Even in lock down period labs are open and they are doing the tests . Taking meprate without excluding preg is not advisable .
