Nightfall problem
Hello Doctor, I'm 28 years old. I'm not sexually active and I don't masturbate, but I'm experiencing nocturnal emissions (nightfall/wet dreams) approximately every 3-4 days. I have some concerns and would like your advice: 1. Is having nightfall every 3-4 days normal at my age? 2. What could be causing it to happen this frequently? 3. Does frequent nightfall have any effect on sperm count or fertility? 4. Can it reduce testosterone levels? 5. Can frequent semen loss cause physical weakness, tiredness, or loss of nutrients? Also please let me know how to stop or reduce nightfall ?

“Nightfall/wet dreams every 3–4 days can occur in healthy adult men and, by itself, does not mean disease. There is no fixed ‘normal’ frequency; it can vary considerably between individuals. Frequent nightfall does not normally deplete sperm, cause infertility, or permanently lower testosterone. Sperm are continuously produced, and fertility depends on overall sperm production and quality rather than the number of nocturnal emissions. It also does not usually cause weakness or significant nutrient loss. You don't need to stop nightfall with medicines unless there is an underlying problem. Avoid unnecessary sexual supplements or “semen-loss” treatments. If it is happening very frequently and is associated with significant fatigue, anxiety, pelvic pain, urinary symptoms, erectile problems or sleep disturbance, please consult me so I can assess the underlying cause and guide you appropriately.”
