Nexito causing OCD as side effect
Hello
I have been taking nexito 10 mg- one tablet in morning and one at night along with oxetol 150. This is the second time i have been prescribed nexito and i am again observing cleanliness OCD being triggered. Is this a known side effect? Fludac didnt help me and hence the doctor got me back on nexito. But the OCD is driving me crazy

OCD being a side effect of escitalopram is unlikely. It takes time for escitalopram to start acting.. atleast 15 days. Just keep calm and keep consulting your psychiatrist.

This is quite unusual side effect. Sometime nexito can trigger anxiety but OCD is rare. But if you are having such problem when you take nexito then you have to stop it and discuss it with treating psychiatrist for alternate option. All the best
