You have to feed your baby every 2-3 hours in a daytime and every 3- 4 hours at night time. Gently hit his souls or ear lobules to wake up him from sleep.

Neonates can sleep up to 18 hours a day,in stretches. If baby's active physically otherwise, feeding properly when awake and passing urine 5-6 times a day,do NOT wake her up for feeds.
