Most probably your son has inherited a delayed eruption pattern although he is still in the age group of upper incisors eruption. Do not worry,he will be all right.
Next Steps
In case even after 6 months, the teeth eruption doesn't take place,then please get a full mouth Xray or OPG done for evaluation.
