I have a new mole behind my left ear. I consulted a dermatologist and she assured me it's not cancer and gave me a mole removal cream which I have been applying for 4 days. The mole seems to be reducing in size now. It rarely itches. Is there a risk of cancer? I am really worried about this.
Also, if the mole fades, would I still be at risk?

Greetings. There can be few medical conditions associated with such presentation and should be ruled out by meeting a Dermatologist. The information provided is limited. A thorough history and clinical examination will be helpful. A photograph will add in obtaining better recommendations. I do not think there is any mole removal cream, so the diagnosis has to be reconsidered
