New braces need tightening - relocation
Hi, i recently got self- ligating braces. I have to relocate to another city for work. Can I get my braces tightened from another dentist/orthodontist?  I haven't yet paid the full amount to my dentist for the treatment. So if I go to another dentist will this cost me extra? If yes, how much?

Yes you need to pay according  to the hospital charges... But it's better to continue  the treatment  with the same doctor

Consult with a dentist
Online now
Hello... The orthodontic appliances can be activated in any dental clinic.. But the further steps had to be done by the first dentist who constructed appliances for you.. The fees for activation differs from clinic to clinic, certain clinic won't collect fees for activation.. But, the correct way is to consult the same dentist. Thank you..

Hello yes another orthodontist can activate your braces, however you need to carry all your records and X-rays to the new orthodontist. Also the treatment plan my vary between the two orthodontists and the fees as well.
Next Steps
It would be better if you ask your current orthodontist to recommend or coordinate with the new orthodontist.
