New born baby not sleeping

Hi my 1.5 month son was very disturbed n not sleeping from many hrs..we had a crowd in house n all ppl coming to meet new member.then at night when he looking me very tired n not sleeping n bcm verry irritate n oftenly crying then i gave him coliccaid drops 0.5 ml..is it save to give it in this case..it will no harm in his growth? plz answer
