New born baby bilirubin
My 3 day old baby boy bilirubin level is 7.4 mg/dl. Is it normal? Doctor gave discharge to my baby. I do not know whether it is normal or not??

Its normal. Daily 15 minutes sunlight exposure should be sufficient.

Bilirubin for this age is normal. Give proper breast feeds it will settle in due course of time… but if the child is becoming more yellow and having irritable cry Do consult pediatrician immediately

Hello , 3 day old baby with 7.4 mg is normal. Don’t worry. Give feeding evry 2 nd hrly . So tat bilirubin will wash out in stools
