Neural tube defects
Sir/Madam I did Quadruple test from two different big labs. 1st test done 2 days after USG says Neural tube defects: Spina Bifida 1:50 2nd done after 6 days from USG says 1: 352 There is a big variation. Level2 USG is also not detecting any abnormality. kindly guide which one to accept or any other advice. Further patient has low placenta with a retro placental blood clot 9 cm. So Amniocentesis may also not be advisable

NIPT is a blood test on mother that can be done for foetal dna. Does not disturb the pregnancy. Though not as yet as confirmatory as amniocentesis it does have  very high sensitivity
