Nestum cereal
Hello Doctor,
Can I give Nestum rice cereal to my baby.
He is 5 and half months as suggested by doctor.
Please suggest.

If breast fed, start top food only after 6 completed months. It's best to give fresh, home cooked food to babies like semi solid dal rice, mashed potato, sheera, upma. You can search google for baby food 6 months. Packaged foods may contain additives and colours which may be harmful to the baby. Only when you are in a hurry, you can use packaged foods

No, not required. Start complementary feeding after 6 months.
Give home made vegetables and fruits purée to start with.
