Needle Re-use
Hi Doctor, Can needles be reused in a vacutainer? I am having fear after my blood test that the needle was reused. Phlebotomist confirmed it wasn't. But want to know if it is possible to reuse vacutainer's needle? If it is reused what are all the possibilities of getting blood borne diseases? Pls advise

Needle💉 should not be used again . And present day life everyone is aware regarding the blood borne diseases😷 & it's causes. And in these decades atleast I haven't seen anyone doing such a malpractice. (As it cost just 1-2₹). Haan, dr./nurses sometimes do get needle prick injury while drawing blood from patients😁
