Need suggestion
Hello Doctor, I have a 4-month-old male shizu dog. Four days back while playing with the dog it suddenly licked my thumb finger I thought it was going to bite me so I took it out immediately and his teeth tarred my thumb finger corner skin a bit. Got blood out, I cleaned my finger with soap and put antibiotic cream. I still have pain in the wounded area. PF the image attached for your reference. Do I need to put rabbis vaccination? How many dose. Please suggest. This makes me a bit anxious. Note: Putting regular vaccination. As of now two vaccinations are done. Next month is rabies vaccine. Never took the dog outside from the home.

Nothing to worry about it …just take 2-3 shots of ARV (anti rabies vaccine) from your nearest government hospital just for precaution because there is chance of your dogs saliva comes contact with your blood ..for per cautionary measures take ARV
Next Steps
Nothing to worry just get yourself vaccinated

Since the pet is yet to be vaccinated for rabies, it is better you get your anti rabies shots.

Don’t get anxious, just relax . Your dog is vaccinated against rabies ? If yes then no need to worry about it just apply antiseptic cream on wound . If your dog is not vaccinated then please go for vaccination ( ARV) And get vaccinated your dog also .
