Fever along with body pain, headache, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea usually means a viral infection such as flu or a stomach bug. The eye swelling is worth getting checked too, since it could be from the infection or a mild allergic reaction. Most of this settles in 3 to 5 days with rest and fluids.
Next Steps
Paracetamol can help with the fever and body pain. Sip ORS, coconut water or diluted fruit juice through the day, and eat small, light meals. Please see a general physician today so they can examine you, check the eye swelling, and decide on any tests or medicines.
Health Tips
Go to the hospital the same day if you can't keep fluids down, pass very little urine, feel breathless, or the swelling spreads to your face or throat.
