My dad has been taking roliflo od 2 and voxate for almost 7 months now(we were not aware of it) and now I want to help him taper off the medication and maybe switch to homeopathy, Kindly suggest me how to go about it as the prescribing doctor is very difficult to reach, should I consult another urologist? Or follow the suggestion that would be given here by kind doctors?
Thank you

Roliflo OD (silodosin) and Voxate (solifenacin) are urological medications for BPH/overactive bladder â stopping them abruptly will cause return of urinary symptoms (urgency, weak flow, retention). They should not be tapered without medical guidance. Switching to homeopathy is your choice, but must be done under supervision.
Next Steps
Consult another urologist for a review of his symptoms and a safe tapering plan before stopping. Do not stop abruptly. Consult me on Practo for further guidance.
