Need diet plan
My Dad s age is 60 , he has high blood pressure but not severe and high cholesterol pls suggest him diet plan

hi he should reduce intake of fat containing foods like oily foods, fried items, ghee. he should take more of vegetables and fruits in the diet ( fibres) these contain more potassium and magnesium , these help in controlling blood pressure. he should reduce salt intake lees than 2300,mg per day. daily exercise like brisk walk helps in controlling blood pressure , deep breathing exercise will also help. for detailed chart you consult a dietician they will calculate based on height and weight if you follow above guidelines it will help.
