High blood pressure
My current blood pressure reads 170/110 which i understand as very high. At this age i don't feel like taking medicine, even though i am taking as prescribed by doctors, i want to leave the medication after 1 month since i jave started just 2 days back. Please suggest the measure to make the body ready for that.

Hi there...high blood pressure is a very serious condition. It can lead to very serious complications like stroke and sometimes even death. Firstly you have change your lifestyle. Start doing yoga, meditation, low salt diet and avoid junk food. Secondly take all the medications as prescribed by the physician and follow up regularly. Get your blood pressure checked regularly. Once it is undercontrol, the doctor will slowly reduce the tablets. If your body can sustain it and maintain the blood pressure then physician will slowly wean you off the tablets. Never stop taking the tablets on your own. You will only harm yourself and your family.
