Need clarification pcod or PCOS
Hello doctor I am thyroid Patient from 8 years, due to hair loss recently I have consukted hair doctor due to hair loss problem,doctor Sujjested me to get the pcod test done, I realy don't know whats KS symptoms But I don't irregular Period, I am getting Period every 28 days or 29 days,I am having regular periods and from 6 months my neck became darker weight gaining but I am always have hotel food and I consume more junk food too, henceforth I will drop everything but I want to know I realy want to go with pcod test, I am having regular periods

PCOD or PCOS are one and the same thing. It only means that the function of the ovaries is deranged and they are producing some male hormones. If you are having regular periods then it can't be a case of PCOD.(In first para you have written that you have regular periods but you finished your statement by writing that you have irregular periods). Either way, there is nothing known as PCOD test or PCOD profile. There are a number of expensive tests. We get them done as indicated. Every half loss case is not PCOD. And most of the PCOD cases don't get cured permanently.

The diagnosis of pcod is by an ultrasound U can get one Done to find out The only treatment for pcod is weight reduction So exercise n count ur calories
