Will thypoid present as dry fever for months or it will reduce in 14 days one of my friend had thypoid o&h 1:160 ,and after 10  days it normal by  during his thypoid and after thypoid it is between 98-99.8 now it almost 3 months the fever is not subsiding ,he visited so many doctors all are saying it is normal on 20 July he got throat pain and cold done blood tests ,esr 31 ,crp 12.6 widal negative,doctor prescribe doxt-xl antiboitic with in 3 days again test done crp 3 ,esr is 20 ,before also in may after taking doxt-xl esr from 30 is reduced to 10 in spam of 15 days but fever is not lowering ,pls help me in this regard doctors reports of July 26 is attached below pls find them, yesterday went outside for exam and check temp after coming home it is 99.8 and after 30min it is 99 ,what is the reason for this fluctuations ,sometimes morning after 11am it is 99 ,afternoon 99.4-99.8 after 1mnth crp 12.6,esr 31,taken doxt xl for 3 days then crp 3,esr came to 20 ,why it happens,taking vitd3 ,

Your friend is having low grade fever and if you are saying it’s been 3 months and still not subsiding , other causes of fever need to be explored. He will need other tests to check if he has any other infections which would be the first thing to do.
