Need advice on Cryotheraphy
Hi...I am currently 6 months postpartum...I had subchorionic hemorrhage and a cerclage during pregnancy and stitch was infected and I had premature delivery...I had bleeding for 62 days after delivery and given depo provera shot... bleeding recurred again in 42 days then I was given "Smartinor and "ovral" for 2 months to stabilize periods which didn't work...I have excessive pale yellow watery discharge at times with no smell or itching which last for hours and stops randomly, not continuous...I visited gynecologist nearby who examined and advised few tests and antibiotics...USG abdomen is normal...Urine culture shows no infection...Pap Smear tells " Inflammatory cervix with reactive changes, no infection, no sign of malignancy"...My doctor has suggested Cryotheraphy...My doubt is do I really need Cryotheraphy or cervix inflammation will subside at some point in time? Is excessive yellow discharge because of harmonal pill or inflammed cervix? What should be done to regulate my periods?

You have to follow your gyneoncologist advice cause she has examined you but still before undergoing cryotherapy you should wait atleast 3 more months as you are only 6 months postpartum. Cryotherapy will do increase the vaginal discharge initially. Yes hormonal pills do cause excessive white discharge but it doesn't require treatment. Your periods will get regularise once u stop breastfeeding.
