Need advice
I was taking Aten 50 tablet from 6 years, but stopped & started taking telma a m 40 mg tablet from 4 ,5 days. My b.p was normal but from today morning it is 152 / 95 & heart rate is 105. What is the reason ? Please answer

Atenolol reduces your pulse rate. Telmasartan doesn't reduce your pulse rate.  I don't know, when you were nicely maintained on Atenolol then why did you shift to Telmasartan ? Our aim should be to control our BP, not try the "LATEST" medicines .

You should consult your physician. May be you need a higher doses. Its very common if you change the medicine. But slowly body adopt to new medicine
