Neck strain/sprain
About two weeks back, I had a severe cold. Due to frequent vigorous sneezing I ended up straining/spraining my neck, which severely limited the motion of my neck. Moving the head up and down and sideways would lead to pain, starting from neck and extending to shoulder blades. It had gradually gotten better, though it gets worse every night while sleeping. I have been able to do a few yoga exercises and mild swimming to exercise it a bit. Today morning, I got up with considerable pain. The pain is now focussed on the left side, extending from the neck to the shoulder. Would really appreciate if someone can help me with any tips/suggestions on how to treat it?
