Neck Pain for more than a month
I have been suffering from left neck pain for more than a month. Visited an orthopaedic two weeks back.As prescribed, I took Myosone Plus and Etrobax 60 for two weeks. And the pain gradually went away. But the crunchy sound on neck movement still persisted. Then, He prescribed Myosone SR for next two weeks and Pregabid 75 20 for a month. And also suggested cervical exercise and local ice application. I started following the same. But, since last Monday, suddenly acute pain reappeared. I am talking medicines as prescribed. I stopped excercise due to pain. Today, no pain is experienced but that crunchy sound on neck movement continues. The Prescriptions and the XRay report are attached. Please let me know what is causing this and how I can get quick recovery.

Cervical rib is extra pair of rib which is present in your case which causes compression of nerves passing from spine to upper limb. There can also be a component of cervical spondylosis which can cause neck pain. You need to start doing physiotherapy which should help improve muscle strength and hence the posture; therefore reducing the episodes of pain.
