Neck Pain and Hurts to Swallow
I have horrible neck pain on the right side and painful swallowing. I had a xray and an ultra sound on my thyroid. The results of xray are "prevertebral soft tissues are prominent throught the cervical spine. Prevertebral soft tissue fullness is nonspecific. Clinical correlation advised." My ultra sound found a nodule and a cyst on the right side. The nodule is solid and is 1.0x1.4x1.5 cm. This pain doesn't feel like sore throat pain from a sickness. It feels like someone punched me, hard..

Hi user.... There can be 2 or 3 differential diagnosis in your case, one can be thyroiditis or hemorrhage in the nodule or even laryngitis.... We need to rule out these 3 to move ahead...
