U need to do heating over the area of pain. Visit to the manual Physiotherapist who can release the structure involved after complete examination of ur neck n upper back. Avoid workout for time being. Follow all the postural advice suggested by Physiotherapist

Avoid further work out. Apply some ice packs to the affected area. Consult a physiotherapist if not subsides within one or two days.
