Hi.. You basically have distance numbers and , is definitely needed for that. Near is optional, if you are comfortable without it , you may not wear all the time. But mostly for visually demanding work, you will feel better with glasses. Follow a healthy lifestyle ..eat healthy , sleep well, and avoid too much screen time.

Sir keep the Spectacles on all the time for all the works you do be it far or near. Spectacles cannot be got rid of without any refractive surgery as you have attained age where the power of the eye gets fixed. You can maintain a good eye health by following a proper working pattern while using laptops/computers/mobile, healthy nutritious diet and daily exercise. To know about your vision on vision chart you need in person visit to any nearby Ophthalmologist.

You specifically need this number for a distance vision. You can manage your near work very well even without glasses. However it's cumbersome to switch between wearing it and removing it every now and then. But if you can manage it's well and good. You won't have a problem even if you wear it for near work.
