Dear Patient, I am sorry to hear about your mother's condition. Persistent nausea during meals can be concerning and may be due to various underlying causes such as gastrointestinal issues, acid reflux, or other medical conditions. It is important to address this promptly to ensure proper nutrition and hydration. Based on the symptoms described, I would recommend the following steps: 1. **Medical Evaluation**: It is crucial to have a thorough medical evaluation to determine the exact cause of the nausea. This may include blood tests, imaging studies, or an endoscopy. 2. **Dietary Adjustments**: Avoid spicy, oily, and heavy foods. Opt for bland, easily digestible foods like boiled vegetables, rice, and soups. Small, frequent meals may be easier to tolerate. 3. **Hydration**: Ensure she stays hydrated with small sips of water or oral rehydration solutions throughout the day. 4. **Medication**: While over-the-counter remedies like vonoprazan can provide temporary relief, it is essential to consult a healthcare provider for a proper diagnosis and tailored treatment plan. Given the urgency and complexity of her symptoms, I strongly recommend scheduling a consultation with me for a comprehensive evaluation and personalized treatment plan. Please feel free to reach out to me on WhatsApp at **eight zero zero nine eight two one three three two** to discuss further or to book an appointment.
