Narrow Anastomosis
I underwent Proctectomy+IPAA+covering loop ileostomy on 01st November 2019..Underwent pouchogram on 10th Jan 2020..Today doctor put finger in anus and  said that the anastomosis between pouch and anus has become narrow, hence he has advised pouchoscopy and narrowing will be corrected at the same time...I also experience  severe crampy abdominal pain(when severe i get them after 10-15 minutes and loud sounds come from abdomen)The pain is severe for some days and again it becomes normal for few days(when normal, gas also comes out of stoma)Why does it happen(severe for some days, then less and then again severe)? Is the crampy pain related to narrowing of anastomosis or adhesions..Kindly reply...
