Foul odor.
I underwent Proctectomy+IPAA+covering loop ileostomy on 01st November..For the last few days I'm noticing that foul odor is coming from output..This wasn't the case before.Im on a low fibre diet(plant based)Kindly tell me what is it due to?Also having spasms in lower abdomen..Please help me...

It is normal to have fowl odour.
Any significant change may be because of Dietery factors.
May get some stool / output tests if needed. Depends on exact Symptoms u are having. To rule out any infection etc
