Nail scratch
I bought a 2 month old golden retriever and while playing he scratched my arm. He has received 7 in 1 vaccine and the vet told me that rabies vaccination will be given to him in his 3rd month. So, should I get my vaccination done as he has scratched me

Absolutely not required as rabies transferred by the bite of rabies infected dog, not from the bite of healthy puppy and that too from the scratch nothing will happen just wash your hand with sanitiser

Rabies spread only via infected animal saliva. Puppies who are less than 3 months of age have material immunity in them, which they got via mother's milk. So, no worries. You don't have to get vaccination.

Not necessary..you can ignore that scratch..just treat it like any other wound..clean and apply antibiotic cream if necessary.

Anti rabies vaccination for you is not necessary in this situation. Nail scratches are not a means of transmission of rabies and being a mom to a golden furbaby you're bound to get infinite scratches. Just clean them with an antiseptic lotion if required.
