Nail removed after acute paronychia
My nail on the great right toe was removed surgically 3 days ago.....what precautions and safety measures should i take now so that it grows back healthy....

Hello there! Your main aim after the surgery should be to protect the nail bed from infections and injuries. I hope you have been given oral antibiotics and antiseptic to apply. Avoid wearing tight fitted shoes for some time.

Hi Thanks for your question. Take care not to injure the nail bed during day to day activities. Wear comfortable footwear. Allow the nail bed to heal.
