Acute Paronychia in Recovery?
I recently had a case of Acute Paronychia, and it appears to be recovering. Swelling went down, and I squeezed out a lot pus and discharge from the abscess (don't believe there is any left). Some strange things leave me doubting. I peeled off a bunch of chapped skin around the swelling, and there still seems to be a slight incline present.

Hello, advise you not to peel any skin around the nail.once the acute infection comes down skin starts healing which takes time atleast 15 to 20 days.advise you to apply topical antibiotic cream like mupirocin for surrouding skin and dont cover it or peel it.
