I've had a paronychia infection in my fingernails for about 4 days and just like the last time I had one, it came to a little pus pocket 2 days in. However, the pus pocket yesterday grew somewhat substantially and now has a red substance, which I'm assuming is blood, in with the pus. The infection is still painful and my finger is swollen around the infection. Is this normal or should I see my doctor?
