My uncle is having Tuberculosis
My uncle is having tuberculosis,he has done with his 6 months course for that but the lymph nodes is still there. Now doctors suggested to undergoes through biopsy for that which diagnoses lymphadenitis ill formed granulomas advised to do MTB/PCR.

Hello user, many times lymph nodes remain even after successful treatment.... One needs to correlate with clinical symptoms and reports like ESR.... Once the question arises then one must go ahead with the diagnostic procedure.... If the biopsy in your case was an excision biopsy ie whole of the tissue has been removed then there will be no tissue left for further investigations....
