My knees are swollen and I'm in pain

I've been feeling a lot of pain and stiffness in my knees and it's surrounding areas for the past three days. it feels like muscle pain but I'm unable to take low temperatures like while sitting in a room with the air conditioner on. I'm also in pain while sitting still or even lying down to sleep. Last night i was unable to fall asleep because of the pain.

Check whether pain and stiffness restricted to only knees or other joints as well. If its multiple joint pain get evaluation from orthopaedic surgeon. Or else take tablet paracetamol for few days.
